There's nothing wrong with making good old fashioned Rice Krispie squares for ANY occasion, but if you want to switch it up and try something a little different, this is an easy turn to take. Plus, most of the ingredients are standard pantry items (marshmallows in the regular recipe, not so much!). Here's what you need:

- 2 C Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 12 oz chocolate chips
In a microwave-proof bowl, put butter and peanut butter and melt.
Add powdered sugar and stir. When incorporated, add the vanilla.Add Rice Krispies and stir thoroughly.Add to a lightly greased 9x13 pan.Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips.Spread over the peanut butter mixture and allow to cool. When completely cool, cut into squares. Mine never look perfect, but boy do they taste yummy!Enjoy!
