The giggles & today's presentation
In an earlier post I complained about how PowerPoint is not your friend. In fact, most of the time it's not even a "frienemy" (kinda friend/kinda enemy). It's just bad, bad, bad. I've been known to call the mind-numbing, eye-straining, sleep-inducing presentation program "The Devil." I know that's a tad extreme, but if you've spent a couple of decades in corporate America, you know what I'm talking about. PowerPoint is the enemy of productivity AND brain cells in government, education, and corporate environments everywhere. Some say that PowerPoint even gives you bad breath, but I can't prove that.
Of course, all of the ranting in the world doesn't communicate quite as effectively as a well-executed sketch. For that, we turn to Tripp Crosby and Tyler Stanton. This is my point exactly...
Of course, today I'm going into a day-long meeting filled with PowerPoint decks. This sketch is going to make sitting through all of the presentations an exercise in controlling my laughter. If I were you, I wouldn't bet on me.
