The List: Seven Lamps
I have a new favorite Buckhead lunch spot which not only has attentive service, but also delicious food: Seven Lamps. Based on the lunchtime crowd, plenty of others have discovered this gem in the Around Lenox Shops. If you haven't ventured over, it's definitely worth your time!
In fact, there's so many good choices, I'd bring friends and split dishes. My favorite sandwich is the PLT (Pancetta, Lettuce & Tomato) or the Chicken Salad. However, if the clam chowder is on the menu, go for that bowl of deliciousness - it's absolutely DIVINE (and maybe pair it with a salad!).
Of course, the real reason I tried Seven Lamps in the first place was so I could knock an item off The List, namely the Mortadella Mousse.
Mortadella is an Italian sausage, so it was easy to imagine it whipped into a mousse. What I didn't expect was how Chef Drew Van Leuvan would serve the mix on macaroons.
Um. Yes, please.
Imagine a wonderful blend of sweet and savory in little bite-size pieces.
So creative and, for those of you less adventurous eaters, not at all scary! This is a perfect gateway to food adventures.
